17.2

Friday, December 07, 2007
I just wanted to brag on myself. At my Weight Watchers weigh-in on Thursday, I had lost 4.8 lbs in one week! So, I am down 17.2 lbs since starting the plan 8 weeks ago. Woot.

I'm still eating a TON because I have so many points at my disposal, but it's still working. Crazy.

I don't want to totally blow it when we're on our trip visiting my family up North for Christmas, but it's going to be so hard. Of course, every event will be centered around food. I need to come up with a plan and put it in writing, so I can keep myself in check without totally depriving myself. Like, maybe something like...no second helpings at dinner and only have X number of desserts, which are approx 1/4 c each while at a special event. I dunno. I don't really want to count points during that week, but I don't want to lose control. I need to figure something out.

Woweee! Congratulations on your weight loss! I need to start keeping track of my intake....so hard. If I were to do the weight watchers, I think I'm afforded 25 points or something like that. My sister has all the stuff if I want to do it.

You are doing a fantastic job! But do cut yourself some slack for the holidays, especially since you're "going home." I know for me the second I am around my family it is nothing but dairy and carbs until I leave.

Also, I was wondering how your diapering habits with Scout has changed now that she is older. Any new love affairs with any other kinds of diapers?
