Fashion Victim

It was a little chilly this morning, so I put some legwarmers on Scout while I was changing her diaper. I was too lazy to go to the other room to get an outfit, so I grabbed a shirt out of a pile of 12 month and 2T size clothes my mom sent me because it was within reach. We went out on the front porch so Scout could watch the cars go by (that's one of her favorite things to do). It was a bit windy, so we ran back inside and I saw that the only sweater she owns that would fit over her huge toddler shirt is a big teal crochet sweater that was mine when I was a baby. I tossed it on her and we went back outside. As we were sitting there, I looked at her and realized that she looked like a clown.....albeit, an adorable little clown.

I think she looks ADORABLE.
I need to get some leg warmers!! For my kid, I gave them up when I quit my long and illustrous ballet career...(Ms. Jones School of Dance, Class of '89!)
very very cute!!
She may be a fashion victim, but she is still just so stinkin cute!
Sunny, I bet you had some fun 80's Flashdance/Fame-esque legwarmers and leotards! LOL :)
Thanks gals, I think she's a cutie too. ;) It's fun to dress her in things that aren't necessarily matchy and outfitty sometimes.
What I REALLY want to do is get some fun prints from my local fabric store and whip up some simple little dresses. There is a vintage-looking print with hula-hooping 50's kids on it that I MUST HAVE. I also like prints with fruit and veggies and random items like Russian nesting dolls.
She is soooo cute! I can't beleive how great your knitting looks! I'm so jealous!
