Uuughh...Nothing fits!

Monday, July 02, 2007
Okay, I swear that this black and white striped onesie is not the only article of clothing my daughter owns. She just happens to have it on whenever I decide to take pictures. Weird.

Here's a pic of her pouty sad (and drooly) face. I just love it when she pokes her lower lip out like that. So cute!

I went to Target today and I bought 2 shirts. I don't normally just go out and buy clothes, since we're on a tight budget...but I am fed up with not having anything to wear. I REALLY need a couple pairs of jeans, but I knew it would be a bad idea to spend any more, so those will have to wait. Nothing fits me right. I'm constantly washing the very few things that do fit me and wearing nappy sweat pants and stained up t-shirts in between.

I bought this top:

And also a plain plum color polo tee. Both of them actually FIT! Yay. I wish I could've bought the empire waist shirt in the black/blue combo as well. Once I find something that fits, I want to buy 20 of them.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem with clothes not fitting. I went to Kohl's last week and bought a few things on sale. I am also not someone who goes clothes shopping often, but they had a few cute things. The biggest problem for me is trying to fit my milk boobies into shirts lately. And I need shirts long enough to cover the waistband of my pants since I'm still wearing maternity pants! That shirt you got is really cute :)

i so know what you mean! i'm still 20 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight (i gained 60lbs!!!) and every month i find myself running over to kmart to buy the cheapest t-shirts etc. that fit! i'm just thankful that the "flowing" look for shirts is in style now. in fact, i still wear some of my maternity tops and no one would know it!

I came out of my twin pregnancy just as lowrise jeans and short shirts were coming into style. It was horrific! Trust me when I say my muffin top was not meant public viewing.
Your new top is v.cute.

I love the shirt! I've lost 40 lbs since having Eowyn, but my body is different, so nothing I owned before is fitting even though I'm only 10 pounds from Prepregnancy weight. Oh well. Next month I'm going shopping and finding a good pair of jeans and about 5 tops. I'm hoping to keep it under $100 bucks...I'll go to good will for the jeans, that'll save me.
