We are super close to deciding on a name for this baby. I've gotta say, naming a child with my husband has made for some pretty hilarious dialogue. He recently picked a middle name to go with our top choice for a girl's first name. Since it is relatively masculine-sounding, I told him that the middle name should be a little more feminine. He chose "Flower Princess Rainbow Bunny Kitten".
I'm pretty sure we've got the boy's first name figured out. I'm not even going to tell you the middle name my husband chose to go with it......because I fear we may actually end up using it. Yes, FEAR. I should remind him that we're not celebrities, so we do not have the privelege of naming our kids things like Fifi Trixibelle or Audio Science.

Speaking of masculine-sounding little girl names-- for some reason I really like the name Kennedy for a little girl- just throwing that out there for you because it doesn't go with our last name so we had to take it off our list!
As I was reading your husband's middle name I was think she's got to tell that man he's not Bob Geldolf! My favorite celebrity child name is Jason Lee's son Pilot Inspektor. Not only is the stupid, but the poor boy will be constantly correcting how it is spelled!
I think Jermaine Jackson named his son Jermagesty. Was he on crack?
If we had another little girl I would name her Virginia and call her Ginny, except now we have a cat named Jenny. The imaginary future child might not want to share a name with a pet. When we still thought the twin might be girls we were going to name Virginia (Ginny) and Caroline (my middle name). Bill wanted to name them Virginia and Penelope and call them Ginny and Penny-yeah, over my dead body!
I refused all rhymey-rhymey matchy-matchy names.
my husband wanted to call our son Conan (after the film Conan the Barbarian!)but thankfully we both fell in love with Sorley - I like it b/c of the Scottish poet Sorley MacLean and husband likes it b/c it's named after a medieval warrior who chased the Vikings out of the west coast of Scotland! His actual name on the birth certificate is Somerled (summer wanderer) but the shortened version which we call him is Sorley (or in Gaelic spelling Somhairle).
Is your husband related to my daughter? She wants to name our baby "Flower Sparkle" if it's a girl...I told her that is such a special name, she might want to save it for her own little girl one day ;)
Lee
I think Kennedy is a really cool name. I just can't shake the connection my brain makes with it and that goofy Lisa Loeb-looking VJ on MTV in the mid 90's. I hate it when a connection with something/someone ruins a perfectly good name.
Jermagesty. Yes, I would say that some crack was definitely being smoked. Ha!
Somerled/Sorley is an AWESOME name. I love it. I know he's still just a tiny thing, but the name really seems to suit his face, from what I've seen of his adorable pics.
Wouldn't it be funny if we let children name babies? My niece has named our baby "A1phabet J@me$"
Yeah, I used to regularly ask the little girl I nanny for what we should name the baby, before we had chosen a name. She was pretty set on "Poopy Chicken Girl Baby" for a while.
I actually think Audio Science is a super cool name.
