To Do List:
- Go to the post office to pick up the diapers I ordered. DONE
- Go to the grocery store to get stuff to make DH's lunches, some milk, and bananas. DONE (Plus stuff to make tacos tonight for some pals that are coming over.)
- Finish cleaning up the kitchen. (Unload dishwasher, wash remaining dishes, and wipe down counters) DONE...but now it's all messy again, after entertaining. Oh well...it can wait until tomorrow!
- Do as much laundry as I can today.....and try not to leave the last load in the dryer to get all wrinkled :) DONE (The third load of clothes are drying right now and I've also washed my new diapers twice so far)
- Rake leaves in the front yard.
- Work on song I've been writing.
- Read Genesis chapters 5-10
That should keep me busy enough.....especially raking the leaves. I hate raking leaves. I've also never tried to do any yard work whatsoever while watching a toddler. It should be rather interesting, as we don't have a fence and this little dude is fast! I may end up spending more time chasing him around than actually getting any work done.

Yeah, on getting stuff done! I bet you were totally surprise when you got your dipes, at how flat and weird they were. I was taken off gaurd the first time I got prefolds.
I went to the wal-marts (ha ha ha, I added an s)and got some Dylon dye in the fabric paint section and dyed my infant prefolds. I got a lime green, a purple and an orange. They turned out really well. If I had planned better I could have dyed way more stuff and done multiple colors each, but I was kinda lazy about it. Each box was like $1.99 and I could've dyed 8-10 diapers with each box, but I only dyed like 5 diapers each color, give or take.
After you wash your diapers like 50 more times (he he) then yours will be ready for color if you want. I'd wash a vinegar rinse one of these times to get some of the residue off the dipes. Just add like a 1/2 cup of white vinegar (for a full load) in really at any time.
